Scheduled meetings can be started at any time before the scheduled time. You can re-use the meeting ID for future occurrences. A recurring meeting ID will expire 365 days after the meeting is started on the last occurrence. You can restart the same meeting ID as many times as you would like before it expires. If you restart the same meeting ID within the 30 days, it will remain valid for another 30 days. That means the Zoom meeting was either deleted or has expired.Ī non-recurring meeting ID will expire 30 days after the meeting is scheduled for. Now, every time you host a meeting in Zoom (unless using the scheduler) your associated Meeting ID and link will be used (these items are redacted in the image above). When I try to join a meeting I get an error that the Meeting ID is invalid. If it is not turned on, then click the blue Edit link to the right of the Personal Meeting ID section to click the checkbox next to "Use this ID for instant meetings".A green check mark indicates it is turned on. From the top left menu, select " My Profile" to verify "Use this ID for instant meetings" is set up.(How to sign in via SSO (Single Sign On): ) A static link makes it easy to share the same link for Zoom when regularly connecting with others. If this setting is not turned on, then Zoom will create a link with a different Meeting ID every time you start a Zoom meeting session. Set up a static Zoom link so that you can use the same link to connect with others via Zoom video/phone conferencing. Posted by Christy Mattingly on 06 March 2019 12:39 PM
